We hooped the Long Beach Harbor Friday thru Sunday this week. Fri we had 18 legal bugs Sat had 7 and Sun only ended the night with 5 legals and 6 shorts. The quality is still outstanding and the potential is there just need to figure out how to keep the seals off us. They were very bad sat and sun night following us for more than 3 miles a couple times.
The Gail Force is running out of Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach for the hoop netting trips. Departing every Thursday thru Sunday for the rest of the season. Max load of 10 and we supply all the gear. All you need is a CA fishing license and a Lobster report card. If you want to get on the boat give me a call @ (310) 844-3814.
We will be running a few open party Catalina Hoop Netting/Fishing trips in the near future. If you are interested email me at E-mail. These trips will be 12 hour trips hooping and fishing Catalina Island. Looking at a couple Sat in January and Feb to do these trips weather permitting.
